When you think of hip-hop in Texas you think of Houston and Dallas, yet in a small town that is 41.5 miles northwest of big D is a group called World Order/Royal Gang that has a sound that can be described as Texas trill meets Memphis 90's lo-fi. They aren't the future when it comes to lyricism, but they do make up for it with production that is far from what you normally hear from Texas rappers , and subject matter that is less about the ice, and more about weird things that would make anyone who listens at least pause for a moment to think about what was just said.
