Week In Review: Top 5 Songs (Sept. 25); Childish Gambino, Scram Jones, Royce Da 5'9'' & Many More

Closing out the third week of That Dope Music I most apologize for the lack of posts I had, but it was test week in my school and needed to get good grades --which I didn't--and it left me with almost no time to listen to new music. Expect more dope music and interviews starting next week.

Probably the biggest news on Hip-Hop blogs were the scuffle between Ray J and Fabolous over some caught feelings after Mayweather's fight. All that could've been said about the "fight" has already been said on other sites. But if I had to chose a side, my pick is Fab hands-down. Ray's 15 minutes have been up for awhile and how the fuck did he let Kim Kardashian leave!? Plus, Loso ain't intimidated by this crack-head.

On other news, Kenja and Razi Bear! & Sey's tapes were the most viewed post this week so congrats!

Now, unto the top tracks of the week.

5. Royce Da 5'9'' - Random Bars
Royce simply spazzes over an awesome beat, spitting hot random rhymes.

4. DJ Mickey Knox - Let The Guns Blow (feat Nutso & Blaq Poet)
With a soulful beat, Nutso & Blaq Poet go all in with a barrage of aggressive lines that would make you reconsider wanting to face this dudes.

3. Phonte – The Life Of Kings (feat. Evidence & Big K.R.I.T.)
Three awesome emcee's joint forces for a great track with a lot of influences mixed-up into one.

2. Childish Gambino - Bonfire
Gambino is back and he brought his comedic off-the-wall rhymes with him in his first single off his upcoming LP.

1. Scram Jones - BoomBap Jones
Scram brings back that classic BoomBap, every time I listen to this track my head starts bumping automatically, truly dope shit.
